In the movie trailer industry, there are two or three guys who do most of the work. One of them is Scott Rummell, who was a friend of Don LaFontaine. Click below to hear Scott and fellow voice guys Bill Davis and Thomas McElroy as they talk about the industry, Don, and lots more. The extended conversation is the audio piece at the bottom of the blog entry.

Nice find, Joe! Thanks for that. I admire Rummell’s work and it’s at the top of my list… so it’s nice to hear him chat.
PEACE.

Joe,
Wonderful. Thank you.
Be well,
Bob
Glad you enjoyed it guys.
What a wonderful interview! I had the pleasure of meeting Scott in a trailer class last summer here in the San Fernando Valley (Sherman Oaks) and had the opportunity to be directed by him as part of the class … what a terrific learning experience. Shortly there after, I landed my first ever voice over agent in October of 2007 (TGMD) and it’s been terrific ever since!
The one thing I’ve learned thus far is simply this … read from the heart and not from the head. Although I have not see or spoken to Scott since that special evening, his influence has had a wonderful impact on my young career thus far … thank you Scott and keep the faith!
